Salman and Aishwarya going to be neighbours?

Salman and Aishwarya going to be neighbours?

There were reports earlier that Abhi-Ash were moving to the new bungalow from their current abode Jalsa in Juhu, but the two rubbished them, saying they had no intentions of living separately and away from Maa and Paa (Jaya and Amitabh).

For past two and a half years work is going on a huge bungalow situated at Carter Road, Bandra, Mumbai. While no one seems to be confirming it from the Bachchan family, there is a strong buzz within the industry the circles that this bungalow, named Naivedya is going to be the new abode of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Now incidentally, this Naivedya is bang next door to Salman Khan's plot.

Reveal sources, "Abhi and Aish have been making late night visits to Naivedya to check the progress on their house.

Call it a twist of fate or just luck, Aish's ex boyfriend Salman Khan’s plot, on which he is reportedly constructing a building for himself and his family, is just next door to Aish's to be new abode. The building doesn’t have a name yet and the plot is numbered ‘83-A’.

As one passes the road one can see the building under construction (plot 83 A) on the left belongs to Salman Khan, while the white bungalow, Naivedya, on the right belongs to Abhi-Aish. Interestingly, Salman Khan’s building is a little taller with more floors than Abhi-Aish's villa.

Salman currently stays at Galaxy Apartments on Bandra Bandstand with his parents.

Britains Oldest Mother

This is Elizabeth Adeney - Britain's oldest mother-to-be. At 66, she is four years older than the previous record holder. Mrs Adeney, who is around eight months pregnant, is believed to have undergone IVF abroad because most British clinics will not treat women over the age of 50. Friends say that the divorcee, a wealthy businesswoman who is still working a five-day week, is in perfect health and looking forward to the birth of what is thought to be her first child. But her pregnancy will reignite the debate over late motherhood and the ability of science to enable women in their 50s and 60s to become mothers. Mrs Adeney will be just short of her 80th birthday when her child becomes a teenager. A friend said she had been desperate to conceive for years. Last year, she travelled to the Ukraine, where a controversial IVF clinic has helped countless women get pregnant using donor eggs and sperm.
The friend added: 'She was desperate for a child. She was over the moon when she learned last year that she was pregnant and has been quite open about it - it's not the sort of thing she can hide. 'Elizabeth has had a pretty good pregnancy. She has been very well, considering her age - I'm amazed how she keeps going. 'She does get up a little later in the mornings than she used to and sometimes spends an hour or two at home before going to work but she is still at her business Monday to Friday.'Mrs Adeney, the managing director of a firm in Mildenhall, Suffolk, which produces plastic and textile products, is described by friends as 'very bright and single-minded'. Yesterday, she declined to discuss her condition. More after the break...

The divorcee is expected to give birth by elective Caesarean 'I am a private person and while I appreciate there may be some publicity I will just ignore it,' she said. 'This has been a very personal decision and I do not feel I have to give interviews or talk to anyone in the media about what I have decided to do and where I have done it.' Mrs Adeney is divorced from Robert Adeney, a former chairman of upmarket riding and leather goods firm Swaine Adeney Brigg, which was founded in 1750. Like most older mothers-to-be, she is expected to give birth by elective Caesarean. She has hired a live-in nanny, who will help her to cope after the birth. A room in her £600,000 detached house in Lidgate, a picturesque village a few miles outside Newmarket, has already been converted into a nursery.
The news of Mrs Adeney's pregnancy has led critics to question once more whether IVF should be given to women who are past the age where they could naturally conceive. The NHS will only consider women under the age of 40.
A spokesman for the Church of England said: 'A child is a gift not a right. 'For those who have never received that gift we can well understand their desire to have children but it is always important to think in those circumstances about what is really in the child's best interests.' However, Laurence Shaw, a consultant in reproductive medicine at London Bridge Fertility Centre, said: 'The truth is, anybody might not survive to raise their children. 'Until 100 years ago, our life expectancy was 50 or so, so if you had a baby at 30 you had 20 years with your child. Now life expectancy is 80, so is it not reasonable for someone to go through a process of fitness screening to decide whether they should have a child?'
One of the chief health risks to older mothers is pre-eclampsia, which can lead to blood clots and serious complications, or even death. However, the condition, which causes high blood pressure, can be detected by regular checks. Mrs Adeney is one of a growing number of older women who have sought IVF treatment abroad in the last few years. These include Patti Farrant, who was the previous oldest woman in Britain to give birth. The psychiatrist, who uses the professional name Dr Patricia Rashbrook, was 62 when she had a son in 2006 using a donated egg from Russia.
A shortage of women willing to donate eggs in Britain - where they cannot be paid - has also driven increasing numbers of younger childless couples into travelling for treatment. The Daily Mail has investigated the growing trade in 'fertility tourism' in countries such as the Ukraine. An undercover female reporter visited one of the best-known clinics, the Isida in Kiev, where women can receive IVF treatment for around £6,000. The 43-year-old was expecting 'a general chat' about IVF but instead the clinic's medical director, Victor Zinchenko, offered to start treatment straight away. Unlike clinics in Britain, the Isida does not impose an age limit for women who are prepared to use donor eggs. The clinic refused to say how much the egg donors were paid - it is thought to be a few hundred pounds - but simply said they were 'very well rewarded' for their trouble. Fertility experts in Britain have warned that donors in other countries are not always warned of the risks of egg donation, which can even cause infertility. The oldest woman in the world to give birth was 70-year-old Omkari Panwar from India, who had a twin boy and girl last year.

Neetu Chandra in Lesbian Photoshoot

Neetu Chandra
Neetu Chandra in trouble for her 'Lesbian' photoshoot

Recently, when actress Neetu Chandra (of Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! fame) agreed to do a bold photo shoot for a men’s magazine, she hardly realised it would spark controversy and outrage from political affiliates.

Neetu, who had agreed to do hot and sexy cover for ‘The Man’ magazine, was shooting along with model Krishikha Gupta outside the lobby of a 3-star hotel, when a group of the hotel’s regular male customers watching it by the pool, suddenly started raising strong objections, by indiscriminately shouting at her and the magazine crew.

But only when things spiralled into an ugly argument and the group started screaming “Jai Maharashtra” at the top of their lungs, did the magazine’s team and Neetu realise that things were out of their control.

Alleging that the shoot was promoting lesbianism, the group began getting aggressive and tried to physically harm the shooting crew.

They claimed to have connections with Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and threatened an agitation. They even tried to confiscate the camera, resulting in the shoot having to be abruptly called off.

Neetu Chandra
“Though the concept about two girls getting very intimate was a bit outrageous, we were doing it very aesthetically.

But these men were a frustrated lot and couldn’t take the heat. They only saw nudity in our concept,” fires Neetu Chandra.

The actress explains, “First they tried to seek my attention with smiles and stares, so I acknowledged them.

But as I went on with my work, the whole group of men suddenly started feeling ignored and began creating a scene.

They did manage to scare me when they started to politicise the issue and scream communal slogans. That was when we had to stop the shoot.”

But now ‘The Man’ has decided to go ahead with the images they managed before the ruckus at the hotel began, raising speculation whether these sensational images will cause further problems when the magazine’s next issue hits the stands in a couple of days.

Hrithik and Barbara Mori from ‘Kites’: First Look

Barbara Mori
Hrithik and Barbara Mori from ‘Kites’: First Look

Did anyone in India know who Barbara Mori was until the Roshans brought her over for Kites? And now after Cannes, Barbara is being recognized on an international podium.

It’s not just fame that Kites has brought Ms Mori. She also knew no English before she started shooting for Kites. But by the time the shooting concluded she could grope around the English language, thanks to Hrithik Roshan.

Apparenty Barbara and Hrithik made a pact. Hrithik would teach Barbara English and Barbara would teach him Spanish.

“I don’t know how much of the promised linguistic exchange worked, But Hrithik knows enough Spanish to understand Mori better than his character in Kites who can’t follow a word of what she says in the film, ” says a crew member.

As for Barbara’s angrezi, she has picked up enough to conduct herself coherently with the media in Cannes although apparently, she would often turn to turn to Hrithik to get the right word.

Says Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan, “Barbara knew only Spanish when she started shooting for Kites. That suited us fine since her character is supposed to understand only Spanish. During shooting she needed to communicate with her co-stars and the crew. She was forced to learn English. Now she speaks just enough to make herself understood.”

The film’s shooting is over. But the editing remains. Rakesh Roshan is hoping for an October release.

“All the prospective buyers and media persons loved the trailer we took to Cannes. This was my first official visit to Cannes though I’ve been to this city for holidays, ” says Rakesh Roshan.
