Motherhood comes in handy for Lopez in film role

ennifer Lopez will be able to call on her newly acquired parenting skills for her latest film role, where she plays a professional thief posing as a nanny, it was reported Tuesday.

The Daily Variety reported that Lopez had confirmed bagging a lead role in romantic comedy "The Governess," her second movie project since giving birth to twins earlier this year.


The 39-year-old music and acting diva will play a robber planning a bank heist who pretends to be a nanny for children of a wealthy widower, the report said. Filming gets underway later this year.

Lopez, whose last film was 2006's "El Cantante," is already working on another project, "Love and Other Impossible Pursuits," due for release in 2009.

She announced her pregnancy in a live on-air chat with fellow DJ Chris Moyles in May.

At the time she admitted that she had 'not expected' to find out about her pregnancy, although she is very excited.

Ms Whiley, who is due in October, told her colleague: 'I am having a baby... I'm announcing it now but I'm too subtle, aren't I?

'So to all of my mates that I haven't managed to tell yet, I'm really sorry about doing it on national radio!'

She also confirmed she has no plans to find out the baby's sex ahead of giving birth.

Former air hostess Danielle is Gary's first serious relationship since he divorced his wife Michelle in 2006 after 20 years of marriage.

As well as the three Barbados trips, Gary and Danielle have also visited Miami, Rome and Vienna since they met on a blind date last September.

Miss Hayek admitted in April that the couple’s constant commuting between Los Angeles and Paris was odd, saying: 'To most women it's crazy. But every relationship is unique.'

Despite not being officially married, Miss Hayek is now expected to benefit from a multi-million pound settlement from Mr Pinault.
