Her head-turning costumes were designed by Dolce and Gabbana, who are already well known for creating iconic tour looks for both Madonna and Kylie Minogue.
The design duo said: “She's a break-out talent with decades of success ahead of her and we wanted to be a part of that sensation.”
It's been a triumphant year for the performer - her single Umbrella has just become the longest-running British number one by a female artist since Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You.
Her platinum album Good Girl Gone Bad has also been nominated for six Grammy awards.
Rihanna, who was recently linked to actor Josh Hartnett, said her success has been overwhelming.
She has said: "I did a show in Belgrade. We were expecting 6,000 people and 24,000 showed up. And I couldn't understand why."
"I look at them and I still think, 'Why are you screaming for me?' I still think of myself as a normal girl."
She is set to perform in Brighton tonight, and will wrap her UK tour in Cardiff on Wednesday.
