The Hollywood actress cut a serious figure as she touched down at a New York airport with partner Brad Pitt and their brood of six, including adorable two-year-old Shiloh.
The 32-year-old is preparing for the US premiere of her new movie The Changeling next week, which will mark her first public appearance since giving birth to Vivienne and Knox in July.
Mother load: Angelina Jolie arrived in New York today with daughter Shiloh in tow
While Brad, 44, spent a lot of last month abroad promoting his new film Burn After Reading at the Venice and Toronto Film Festivals, Angelina avoided the spotlight, instead spending her time holed up at the Chateau Miraval in Provence, France.
Just last week the family relocated to the Palais Parkschloss villa south of Berlin while Brad shoots scenes for the new Quentin Tarantino movie, Inglorious Bastards.
Last month, InTouch Weekly magazine reported Angelina was in 'depression mode' following the birth of her twins.
A source said: 'Angelina feels that Brad has it easy. He had the kids without the pain of birth, and he can just jet off whenever he feels like it.'
'She has been staying in bed most of the time, all she does is sleep. She has little energy and has to force herself to remember to eat because she is still breast feeding.
'She cries at the drop of a hat and laughs at inappropriate times.'
Dad on duty: Brad Pitt wrestled with the twins' cargo
Her relationship with Brad was also said to be under strain, a claim her spokesperson took the unusual step of denying.
The couple now have three adopted children and three biological children in total - Maddox, 7; Vietnamese Pax Thien, 4; Ethiopian Zahara, 3; Shiloh Nouvel, 2; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 10 weeks.
Despite having six children aged seven and under, Pitt has often spoke of his wish to have a 'football team'-sized family.
