Denise Van Outen hits the town for a girls' night out in sexy cowboy boots

For five months she was getting up at the crack of dawn to present the breakfast show on London's Capital radio with Johnny Vaughan.

But now she has quit, Denise Van Outen is making sure she resurrects her social life again after having dinner out with a girl pal.

The 34-year-old was spotted in London's trendy Primrose Hill following a meal at the Lemonia restaurant.

But her toyboy lover Lee Mead, 27, was nowhere to be seen.

He was probably putting in an evening performance at the West End where he plays the leading role in Joseph And His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Denise is currently fronting the Hairspray High School Musical TV show on Sky One which sees drama students in London audition for a part in the West End show.

Ever the style queen, the leggy blonde complemented her look with a pair of sexy brown leather cowboy boots.

Denise Van Outen shows off her incredible bikini body as she soaks up the sun in Majorca

Denise Van Outen recently quit her breakfast show job to improve her quality of life - and as she relaxed in the sun today it certainly seemed to be working.

The presenter looked at least a decade younger than her 34 years as she showed off her flawless figure in a baby blue bikini on a yacht in Majorca.

She has swapped the early mornings of the Capital FM show for relaxed afternoons sipping glasses of chilled rosé wine and sunbathing.

Ahoy there! Denise Van Outen shows off her incredible bikini body onboard a yacht in Majorca yesterday

Action girl Denise showed she's more than just a pretty face, taking the helm of a motorised dingy as she and a friend headed out to the boat.

Then after a quick dip to cool off in the sea, she took a call on her mobile phone.

Perhaps it was her boyfriend Lee Mead, who at 27 is eight years younger than Denise.

He was unable to join Denise because of his work commitments in the West End.

Mead is currently starring in Joseph And His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

What a beauty: She swapped the early morning starts for afternoons in the sun

Denise has said that she left her job at Capital FM in order to spend more time with the Any Dream Will Do winner, whom she met when she was a judge on the show.

‘I left because I was getting stressed. I wasn't sleeping properly and it was affecting my personal life,' she said in an exclusive interview with the Mail.

‘My relationship with Lee wasn't under strain, but it wasn't being allowed to grow. We'd courted and we wanted to move on. But you can't do that if you've never got time to see each other.

Shall we have a glass of wine? Denise cooled down with a dip in the sea

Denise was reunited with her former Big Breakfast host Johnny Vaughan in February in a bid to boost the 42-year-old's flagging ratings.

But their on-screen chemistry did not translate to the airwaves and failed to win new listeners at Capital.

Model Lisa Snowdon is now to replace her.

Denise recently revealed why having a relationship with a man aged in his twenties was right for her.

She said: 'Personally... a man in his twenties works for me.

'In my experience, single men in their mid to late thirties tend to be single for a reason. The good ones get snapped up.'

Before she started dating Mead last November, Denise was engaged to Jamiroquai frontman Jason Kay until 2001 and also dated Andy Miller, guitarist with Nineties indie band Dodgy

Denise Van Outen on romantic stroll with boyfriend Lee Mead

Denise Van Outen appears to have finally found happiness with boyfriend Lee Mead.

The actress, 34, appeared relaxed and in love as she went on a coffee run with Mead, 27, in Hampstead, north London on the Bank Holiday Monday.

It looks as though quitting her job on Capital FM radio station has done nothing to effect her mood either as Denise was all smiles in the company of the Any Dream Will Do winner, who is eight years her junior.

She said the early start was making her ill - and she is now in talks about her future on the station.

Denise pays the Rent with her raunchiest role yet

Playing murdering jailbird Roxy Hart in Chicago clearly wasn't enough for Denise Van Outen.

The 33-year-old is now starring as scantily clad bisexual Maureen in the West End's production of Rent.

Denise will certainly give the critics a couple of things to think about when the curtain goes up at the show's press night tonight at the Duke Of York Theatre.
