Mucca makeover: Has busty Heather Mills had a bit of a lift?

Squeezed into a tight grey vest Heather Mills left little to the imagination as she walked through Heathrow Airport tonight.

It may have been a particularly good bra, but her pert, ample bosom prompted onlookers to question whether she had undergone cosmetic surgery.

However, in her autobiography, Out on a Limb, Heather Mills claimed she had undergone a bust reduction in her 20s, going from a bra size 34E to a 34C.

Goodbye Heather: Miss Mills was heading for New York from Heathrow Airport

Following a messy divorce battle with her former husband Sir Paul McCartney, Miss Mills received a settlement of £24.3million earlier this year.

And she seemed in high spirits as she headed off to New York to make a considerable donation to a children's charity in the Bronx.

One onlooker said: 'She was in a good mood. She said she was going to donate $1million to a charity in the Bronx which helped disadvantaged children.'

Yesterday the Mail revealed that Miss Mills is suing her former publicist Michele Elyzabeth for more than £250,000 for breach of confidence and falsehood over newspaper allegations about the former model's failed marriage to Sir Paul.

Miss Mills, mother to the ex-Beatle's four-year-old daughter Beatrice, launched the High Court Action against her former employee following Elyzabeth's claims that Heather was obsessed with money and fame.

Sir Paul met Miss Mills at a charity event in 1999 just a year after Linda died from breast cancer.

Despite his children's serious misgivings about his new love, he wed the former model in 2002 at the17th century Castle Leslie in County Monaghan, Ireland.

The couple had daughter Beatrice a year later but announced their separation in 2006 initially blaming press intrusion.

Heather Mills risks platforms for a day out in New York

Heather Mills was spotted in New York yesterday sporting precarious platform heels - despite the fact that the ex-wife of Paul McCartney has an artificial leg.

But then that has never stopped Heather before. Last year she competed in US TV reality show Dancing With The Stars - where dance routines included risky flips and backbends.

Even a fall on live TV did nothing to dampen the spirit of the animal rights campaigner, 41, who told 'Good Morning America': 'I want to show you can get out there and do anything with an artificial leg.'

'It's about focusing in the ability rather than the disability, and you can overcome anything,' Mills said of competing in the dance show with a prosthetic limb.

During yesterday's outing, Heather was seen leaving her Soho House hotel in the Meatpacking District with a female friend, carrying a couple of notebooks.

Later in the day, she was seen leaving a restaurant, with another - male - friend, who helped her to pack her car.

The former model set up the Heather Mills Trust, which gives artificial limbs to people who have lost limbs after stepping on landmines. She is happy to show her prosthetic leg to people, and once took it off during an interview on the American talk show 'Larry King Live'.

Heather was married to Sir Paul McCartney in June 2002 and gave birth to their daughter Beatrice in October 2003. After an acrimonious public divorce she was awarded £24.3 million in March 2008.

Heather Mills gets to know her new furry friend

Heather Mills gained a new fan when she attended an awards ceremony for animal welfare.

Chewy the dog got up close and personal to Sir Paul McCartney's ex-wife after she was honoured at the 2008 Animal Rights National Conference.

Mills has been honoured with the Celebrity Animal Advocate Award in Washington DC by the organisation FARM (Farm Animal Rights Movement).

Mills made a donation of $50,000 and announced that she is planning to launch her own brand of vegan food - a project she plans to fund herself.

However she is refusing to reveal the name of her brand until its launch in October this year, which will also be followed by the opening of a chain of vegan fast food restaurants.

Mills met Sir Paul McCartney at a charity event in 1999, just a year after his wife Linda died from breast cancer.

He wed the former model in 2002 at the 17th century Castle Leslie in County Monaghan, Ireland.

Daughter Beatrice was born a year later but the couple announced their separation in 2006 initially blaming press intrusion.

Their ill-fated marriage came to an official end earlier this year and she was awarded £24.3million - a fifth of the sum she had been seeking originally.

Heather Mills booed and heckled as she appears as judge at Miss USA Pageant

A shocked Heather Mills was booed and jeered as she was introduced as a judge at the Miss USA 2008 Pageant.

The former model – who has previously claimed that public opinion of her in the US was "99 per cent positive" – was visibly upset when part of the audience at the Planet Hollywood hotel in Las Vegas began to heckle as she took to the stage with hosts Donny and Marie Osmond.

The live TV contest was Mills's first major public appearance since her £25 million divorce settlement from Sir Paul McCartney.

It came just days after she launched an astonishing tirade against Sir Paul McCartney and "his three girlfriends" on GMTV, saying:

"I wish all the girls the best of luck. Better them than me."

"99 per cent positive - I've always wanted to live here but I've always said that I can't live here because I want to keep my daughter near her father," she added.

After the contest Mills attempted to shrug off the heckling:

"I really enjoyed myself. It was a great contest. If there was some negative reaction, what can you do? There will always be some people like that." She said.

Mills was on a panel of ten judges on Donald Trump's Miss U.S.A beauty contest.

A spokesman for Miss USA refused to comment on the booing. He added: "We were pleased to have Heather participate on our panel."
