Some have cruelly called her turbulent life a car crash and now it seems Britney Spears' can add motor troubles to her list of growing woes.
The volatile singer, whose silky camisole top barely covered her cleavage, was seen hitching a ride with a photographer (not her rumoured boyfriend Adnam Ghalib) after her vehicle broke down in Los Angeles last night.
The 26-year-old, who spent the weekend in a secure unit after holding her two sons hostage, was back to her old habits following the most dramatic week of her life so far.
Firstly Britney got into her white Mercedes and started driving at night without her lights on.
Britney Spears went for a late night drive (without her lights on) yesterday, visiting a pharmacy...
She then got a flat tyre and angrered fellow LA motorists by creeping along the highway at 10mph before the police spotted her and stepped in.
Not wanting to hang around, Britney jumped into the car of paparazzi Fabricio Mariotto, who drove her back to her LA pad.
Britney then decided she didn't want to stay home and called her assistant Carla, who arrived in her beat-up Toyota.
The singer got behind the wheel and proceeded to drive to the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills, but within minutes she left the hotel and headed to the Peninsula Hotel.

While her car will be easy to fix, the singer faces an avalanche of other problem not so easily remedied.
Ghalib, the Birmingham-born paparazzi photographer Spears has called her "only true friend" has been touting around intimate pictures taken of them together in recent days with a staggering £500,000 price tag.
The Los Angeles-based photo agency that Ghalib works for, Finalpixx, was trying to broker a deal with UK newspapers for use of pictures of Ghalib and Spears together.
The images were taken after Spears managed to check herself out of a secure unit at an LA hospital where she had been sensationally taken by police after taking her own children hostage in a custody row with her estranged husband Kevin Federline.
As always the paparazzi were on her trail and on hand to give her a lift. Britney hitched a ride with Fabricio Mariotto who drove her back to her LA pad
After checking out of the Cedars-Sinai hospital, she joined up with Ghalib, who she has been on/off dating for a few weeks, and two other of his photographer friends and spent time at various safe-houses and hotels in Palm Springs, the Hollywood Hills and Santa Monica.
Pictures around show them passionately embracing, walking hand in hand, and arm-in-arm down the street, and feeding food to one another.
It is not known whether Spears is aware that her new companion is now trying to turn a quick profit on their relationship.
Some sources suggested last night that she may even be in on the deal, in so doing making a profit for herself and also being able to control which pictures of her go out.

Leaving the Cedars hospital on Friday - a day after she arrived - Ghalib whisked her back to her Hollywood Hills home and then another "safe house" nearby.
The photographer has apparently been telling Spears that he can keep her safe from the rest of the paparazzi pack by using the kind of skills he has learnt from his years on the job in LA.
In the early hours of Saturday morning, the pair then headed to Palm Springs, and checked into a £500-a-night suite at the Hyatt Grand Champion resort.
The next day they turned up in nearby Palm Desert, just 20 minutes out of Palm Springs, where they had cocktails and breakfast at the fashionable Daily Grill.
The following day, they were in Santa Monica before leaving for another as yet unidentified "safe house," arranged by Ghalib, in the Hollywood Hills.
It was during this three-day Bonnie and Clyde-style trip that Ghalib took various sets of pictures of Britney in their hotel suite, and videos of them together. Some sources suggest the videos were of an "extremely intimate or even sexual" in nature.
Which might leave Spears in rather a compromised position should they break up.
Distraught: A dazed-looking Britney is hauled off to hospital
A friend said: "I don't think Mr and Mrs Ghalib would approve of his choice considering they are strict Muslims."
Meanwhile famous TV shrink Dr Phil McGraw has said Spears needs specialist medical help amid fears she has manic depression.
Dr Phil spent some time with the singer before she left hospital and he claims: "My meeting left me convinced more than ever that she's in dire need of medical and psychological intervention."
Manic depression may in part be caused by genetic factors. Britney's paternal grandmother killed herself at the age of 31 after having depression for years.
It's been reported that Britney had no idea the TV doc was coming to her room. One psychiatrist called it "intrusive and inappropriate."
Another shrink said: "It is incredible that the hospital allowed Dr Phil in her room. It's a total violation of her rights."
Family and friends begged Britney - whose latest single, Piece of Me, went up from 46 to 19 in yesterday's UK chart - to seek medical help amid renewed fears for her mental state.
And they are worried at the added strain the relationship with Ghalib may have at a time when she is particularly vulnerable.
Ghalib, who is separated from his wife, grew up in the Small Heath suburb of Birmingham.
One friend described Ghalib, who left Britain in 1996 to pursue a career in the US, as "a typical Asian Brummie" who could "talk the hind legs off a donkey".
Another said: "Adnan was a real charmer and had a real drive to get on in the world. But everyone is gobsmacked that he is with Britney."
Officers escort Britney to hospital, her sons followed in a car behind, early last Thursday
Spears and Ghalib have been spending time together and were spotted at two hotels in Los Angeles and Palm Springs over the New Year break.
In a move which has been widely condemned, the singer was allowed out only 36 hours after the very public meltdown in which she held her two sons hostage for four hours.
Doctors had the right to keep her in for three days under Californian law, to assess her mental state.
But in the time Spears has been in hospital, her troubles have only increased.
Her custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline has swung further in his favour, after the events of Thursday night.

On Friday, a judge stripped her of all visiting rights for Sean Preston, two, and Jayden James, one.
And yesterday, while she was leaving Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre through a back tunnel to avoid the waiting paparazzi, the family members who usually offer her support were thousands of miles away.
Her mother, Lynne, and pregnant 16-year-old sister, Jamie-Lynn, were on the other side of the country at the family's hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana.
Mrs Spears was visiting the grave of her sister, Sandra, who died from ovarian cancer a year ago.
Miss Spears only had her father, Jamie, who has had an often stormy relationship with his daughter.
He is said to have burst into tears after his daughter's release.
At war: Britney and ex-husband Kevin Federline are fighting over custody of their two sons
A source told the U.S. magazine People: "He doesn't know what to do. Everyone is trying to figure out the best thing to do, but who knows what that is now?"
It has been suggested that Miss Spears is exhibiting signs of bipolar disorder.
Federline is alleged to have beefed up security at his home in case his ex-wife tries to snatch their sons.
The hostage drama occurred hours after a court hearing in their custody case. Miss Spears attended, and then returned home for an approved visit with the boys.
When the time came to hand them over, she refused, and the situation escalated.
The stand-off, which involved five police squad cars, a police helicopter and paramedics, was sparked because Federline thought Spears would shoot their two children, it has been reported.
A friend of his said the News of the World: "K-Fed was terrified. He realised she had a gun where she was holding them."
Federline was given "sole physical custody" of the children until a decision by the Superior Court of California on January 14.
